The Governor General’s is one of the most prestigious lawn bowling events in Canada providing the opportunity for players from Ontario to compete against players from Quebec in Men’s and Women’s Fours and Men’s and Women’s Novice Singles. The Governor General’s Finals are hosted in alternate years by each province. The 2025 finals are on August 30 in Quebec (location TBD).

Fours – $120 per Team
Novice Singles – $30 per player
Eligibility:
All Ontario Players must be registered with the OLBA.
Novices must be in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of bowling and must not have won a prior year Novice Singles at the G.G.
Format:
Men’s and Women’s Fours: 14 end elimination games. Top 2 Men’s and 2 Women’s teams advance to the Finals.
Men’s and Women’s Novice Singles: 21 shot elimination games. Winners advance to the Finals
